Austyn Wohlers
Austyn Wohlers is an ambient musician and writer from Atlanta, Georgia, currently living in Baltimore, Maryland. She makes lush, multilayered, maximalist warm drone music: her composition practice centers on guitar, but also incorporates voice, synth, orchestral instruments, and samples from the natural world. Her most recent album, Silvopasture, synthesizes multiple strains of ambient music to form a complex, emotionally powerful album, metallic and geological. She also plays in the experimental pop outfit Tomato Flower, and makes ambient music with Ruby Mars as Plum Lovers.
